About the Event
Holy Week is a special time at St. Peter’s no matter how you join us – in person, or on YouTube. We offer a complete array of worship experiences, which include Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. All services will be livestreamed, and include traditional elements – palms on Palm Sunday, the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday, and a vespers prayer service on Good Friday. Then, on Easter Sunday, you are invited to Brunch and an Egg Hunt for Children after the worship service! We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate these holiest of days in the Christian faith. All are welcome – we are an Open and Affirming Congregation, and we invite all families and persons in our community to join us.
Palm Sunday: April 2nd at 10am - Welcome Jesus into Jerusalem with us!
Maundy Thursday: April 6th at 7pm – Partake of the Last Supper, whether at home or in person.
Good Friday: April 7th at 7pm – Jesus's 7 last words will all be a part of our service.
Easter Sunday Worship: April 9th at 10am – Join us as we celebrate the Risen Christ!
Easter Egg Hunt for Children: April 9th at 11:15am – ALL children ages 0 through 5th grade are welcome! We try to do it on our front lawn but if the weather isn't cooperating, we'll do it in the Gym. Bags (and extra goodies) are provided but baskets are welcome as well. And it is FREE!!
Easter Brunch: April 9th after worship – Classic egg bakes, bacon, coffee cakes, and goodies galore. Please RSVP to the office to help us know how many to expect; suggested donation is $5 per adult, $2 for children under 5.
We are always grateful for donations of non-perishable food items for our Mini Pantry – they can be left by the Church Office next to the Laramie Street door.
