Rummage & Bake Sale

St. Peter’s UCC Skokie has a reputation for supporting our local community, and our Rummage Sale is one way we do that, by offering bargain prices on all sorts of items. Proceeds also benefit not only St. Peter’s, but extend to helping other local charity organizations. In the past, we have donated vases to “Random Acts of Flowers;”; pillow and bed covers were donated to the Niles Township Food Pantry; winter coats to the Chicago Bears’ Coat Drive through Jewel Stores; and remaining unsold Rummage items went to the Cancer Federation.

This year’s Rummage Sale boasts one of the largest amounts of donated items we’ve ever had. We have a featured “Boutique Area” filled with high-end items and collectibles, and literal tons of men’s and women’s clothing. Parking is available (street on Friday, Village Hall lot on Saturday), and the church is easily accessible by public transportation. St. Peter’s is located across from the Library and Village Hall in downtown Skokie, and is a few blocks west of the Oakton stop on the CTA Yellow Line.

Our famous Bake Sale runs both days again this year and features homemade treats and goodies from the church’s members, bringing back a classic taste of goodness - cakes and pies, cookies and muffins, all available to take home, or to eat while you shop.

Payment is accepted in cash and PayPal for orders over $20 (an additional $2 may be charged to cover the PayPal fees).
